Sounds like a Judas Priest song.Fight The Fight (4:41)
Please, no.The Winds of Winter (9:33)
It honestly sounds better than everything else on that list though. I’m sure Maiden could pull off a song based on the books. Please, no.

No, but there is a Murray/Gers (with Blaze and Steve) - Virus.
LOTB will do a Maiden England and go into a third year.

It would be as terrible as Maiden writing a song based on The Hobbit. It honestly sounds better than everything else on that list though. I’m sure Maiden could pull off a song based on the books.
I mean, I've read that Empire of the Clouds actually had a significant contribution by Nicko on it through way of arrangement help but that doesn't mean it's true. There's always gonna be songwriting credits conspiracies out there. The likely explanation for Virus is that Steve took a bunch of riffs and ideas from Janick and Davey and jammed them together awkwardly with lyrics by Blaze on top. It certainly sounds like it.I've a vague memory of reading somewhere that Virus probably wasn't written by all of them but that the names were added to show they all agreed with the lyrics. I'm sceptical about this though as you would think if that was the case Nicko would be creditted too.
