NO! Thanks from me too - no sarcasm. I was carefully searching thu the posts to see if anyone else was going to "explain" it. I even clicked on Foro's link where it says "explained here".

So, here is my vote / rating for 'Iron Maiden':

'Prowler' 10
'REMEMBER TOMORROW' 11
'Running Free' 8
'Phantom Of The Opera' 10 (the song that introduced me to Iron Maiden)
'Transylvania' 10
'STRANGE WORLD' 11
'Sanctuary' 8
'Charlotte The Harlot' 5
'Iron Maiden' 3.5

Conclusion:  8.5  = MASTERPIECE  :ok:

And so sorry about the "11's". These two songs are stand-outs among all of Iron Maiden songs and require a 1 point boost. (I usually give them a "13" when rating -- this on the official site)

Raw and fairly simplistic overall, but with important hints at the greatness to come. The quality of Paul's vocals seems to vary from song to song, but he has a number of nice moments here.

This is not an album that I get the itch to listen to very often, but it does have a few highlights, and it's still better overall than either of the Blaze-era albums, IMO.
