Hi everyone!

A few years ago I uploaded this cover to my YT channel which had a lot of editing work and is getting lost in oblivion as it has very few views.
Musically it has nothing special except the fact that it is a live performance cover. I learned Dave & Adrian's guitars by ear and created the tabs.
If anyone can appreciate it, it might be from this forum

Richie Faulkner plays a cover of ''Fear Of The Dark'' with a band with harsh vocals. It's 3 minutes shorter. From last month.

The version of the song is faster, almost power metal and it suits the song so well! Richie improvised the solos (more Janick's), but added his style.

I never knew they covered Maiden, interesting song choice too. They really made it like it was their own.

It isn't Depeche Mode. It was made by a Youtuber. Yet hell of a job... it really sounds like early DM.

Tho I agree that TLOTLDR is one of the most "power metal-leaning" (so to say) songs they have done, or better said, one of their songs which might have inspired power metal the most. It's a style Kai Hansen used extensively on Somewhere Out in Space, for example.

Here's him playing ''Deja-Vu'' live, the double bass suits it too. SIT is probably Nicko's best album.

Btw, here's him playing ''Trooper'' from the same gig, it shows how important are the fills to the full sound for the Maiden songs. And he doesn't play it that fast.
