It is indeed!

I just mentioned the 1986/87 tour as well, as they certainly had a backdrop for Rime back then, but it's not easy to find a good quality pictures or take a good screenshot from the live videos of that time. :) So as far as "official art" for Rime of the Ancient Mariner goes, it has had two backdrops and that t-shirt artwork.
 
I find it curious that so much of the AI Eddie art I've seen leans so heavily on the Book of Souls design. Might be just one...ahem..."artist" churning those ones out, so that could be why.
