Iced Earth

With Saxon too? I'm pumped as hell for this gig. It'll be great, except for Barlow butchering Declaration Day.  :ok:

I'm going to wade in late and say I love "The Reckoning".

Especially since it's one of the few fast songs on the last couple of albums.

Sorry mate, the date on the ticket prevails! As soon as you'll step into the place where you're going to buy the ticket, someone else will leave the building with the final ticket. Sold out, I'm afraid!  :D

*runs*

The tour isn't selling that well anyway. Over here, they had to move to a smaller venue and it's still not sold out. I guess people put their money on other things with this financial crisis and wave of unemployment.

I've been to a number of gigs in venues of comparable size in Berlin during the past two years, and none of them were sold out. It is even very likely that I'd get a ticket at the venue on the day of the gig.

I am still pissed that they can't be arsed to come to Finland... Iced Earth completely ignores this country for some reason, while every other fucking metal band on the planet plays lots of shows here.

Well son...

I think the sales would be a lot less if they had told people about the setlist beforehand.  :innocent:
01. In sacred Flames
02. Behold The Wicked Child
03. Setian Massacre
04. Burning Times
05. Declaration Day
06. Vengeance Is Mine
07. Violate
08. Pure Evil
09. Watching Over Me
10. Ten Thousand Strong
11. Dracula
12. Melancholy (Holy Martyr)
13. My Own Saviour
----------------
14. Iced Earth

It's not that bad... It's pretty good. It is good.
Though why they didn't pick I Walk Alone instead of  Behold The Wicked Child I don't know.

First song on the album?  But what on earth is Matt doing, singing Setian Massacre, Declaration Day, and Ten Thousand Strong?

Seems like a shorter setlist than they played during their U.S. tour.
What did they play (spoiler it if you post. Don't make the same utterly stupid misstake I did yesterday)?

Here's the set they played in Montreal when I saw them.
In Sacred Flames
Behold The Wicked Child
Motivation Of Man
Setian Massacre
Burning Times
Vengeance Is Mine
Declaration Day
Ten Thousand Strong
Stormrider
Watching Over Me
I Walk Alone
Come What May
Dracula
Hold At All Costs
High Water Mark

Melancholy (Holy Martyr)
My Own Savior
Iced Earth

However, later on the tour,
Hold at All Costs was switched out for The Coming Curse, and Come What May was switched for Pure Evil.  There was some juggling with the set order too.
