As i said before i love the classic line up but the lines up from 2006 to 2014 were better musicians than the original. They sounded really great live much better than now ( axl apart) izzy wrote great songs but as you say he disappeared after.
 
Adler with Slash, Duff and Gilby this week.


Adler was the heart and soul of Guns. Those songs don’t sound right with Matt Borum or Axl’s random player of the day.

I saw it. He only played its so easy. About the sound maybe alder sounds more "garage" yes but check a 2010 show or the show i posted in this thread or bucarest 2010. Its more 90s Gnr than now
 
Welcome to the jungle 2026. As i said before he will butcher most of the songs apart the ones he uses his lower voice. ISE bad obsession brownstone and parts were he uses that register. Thats exactly how maiden dont want to end.

 
Who would have thought that leaning into falsetto and nasal head voice from a vocal fry base for 90% of the songs isn't sustainable over 40 years of performing.

1987 to 1993 full rasp
1993 to 2000 dissapeared from the world
2000 to 2002 falsetto 90% of the songs
2006 suddenly the rasp appears but falsseto a good one still there
2007 to 2010 axl in god mode. Back to 90s
2011 disaster at RIR he shows without performing with the band in 1 year and even without contact as BF confirmed
And from there tour after tour butchering songs first the obvious you could be mine rocket queen dont cry and others were he needs to go up but now its like 90% of the songs a disaster.
With acdc there is too much hype,he did indeed a good job in most of the set but his falsetto appeared to in other songs.
Now he is done his voice is shot he always improve because he uses the first shows as rehearsals ( its true) but now i think its imposible
 
New show at porto alegre you could be mine estranged and shadow of your love added, down in the farm and another i cant see dropped but feels that Axl has the same voice than when he damaged his vocal chords 2 tours ago. And he is 64 years old its imposible to perform 3h how he used. To sing like that you need a lot of air ,energy and thats because he uses the falsseto apart he damaged his vocal chords many times. In 99 is rumored tha he went trough surgery thats why he signed with clean voice in 2000-2002 and the weird re-recording of live era 87-92 you can hear the weird changes of old axl and 99 axl. For me this show feels like a party of the gnr 90s with other guys.
 
Pretty tied up. He sounds good using his low voice but when he tries to go up its like his loungues are fucked.

And i am going to repeat again i love the original GNR but even slash sounds like shit and his greatness and his aura during the solos now he just go trough it. The Chinese democracy line up sounded much better and yes they were 3 guitars maybe that help BF,fortus and Dj ashba for ex.
