Clue #1: "Turn on the TV, 'cause I got nowhere to go " < refers to the first line of the lyrics from Skid Row's "Livin' on a Chain Gang" and, by extention, the 1932 classic film I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang.

Clue #2: it was released on single < well, a promo single is a single, isn't it? ;)

Clue #3: At a point below zero, isn't there any place left to go? < this refers to the lyrics from Thin Lizzy's "Massacre": "At a point below zero" // "On a cold October morning, as frost lays on the ground" + questioning the original lyrics ("there's no place left to go") suggests that the fugitive does have options.
