1. Born In A Mourning Hall is about televangelists and TV preachers, quite like Holy Smoke. They tend to masquerade as prophets of disaster.
2. and 4. are with regards to the verses with lines like:
"Taunting us with visions

Predicting war for millions
In the hope that one appears"
or
"In 13, the beast is rising
The Frenchman did surmise
Through earthquakes and starvation
The warlord will arise
Terror, death, destruction
Pour from the eastern sands
But the truth of all predictions

3. The pre-chorus:

reminded me of the bolded lines in the poem.
