Clue#1: Charlotte december 2009
Charlotte Gainsbourg released her album "IRM" on december 7th 2009 and it has song titled "Heaven Can Wait".

Clue#2: There are few similar named songs (out there) from other bands and artists. For example, in clue#1 was it was sung by Charlotte and released in december 2009, another one was released by band from Germany in 1990 and they have shared the same stage with Maiden.
Gamma Ray released their debut-album called "Heading For Tomorrow" on february 26, 1990 and it has the song titled "Heaven Can Wait".
I didn't check the full history of live shows done by Gamma Ray but they did open up for Iron Maiden in 2003 on atleast 10 shows when Maiden was doing their European Dance Of Death tour.

Clue#3: The light
The light, the tunnel..Heaven Can Wait is about NDE. Near-death experience and seeing a vision of light in the tunnel seems to be common phenomenon that people experience
