Guess The Iron Maiden Song!

The song to guess is all about emotional rollercoaster because of the story seeing people shot to pieces in a war that's far from being beautiful and that contains some bad movie scenes, but still done in amity in so called gathering.

Damn, I didn't think that'd be the right guess! You mentioned "bad movie scenes" so my first guess was something from the Blaze era. Not that they necessarily wrote songs about bad movies, but some lyrics in songs like The Edge Of Darkness have been criticized for being bad, when they are direct quotes from a movie. You also mentioned people dying in wars, so that reduced the scope to songs like The Aftermath (which was guessed) or Fortunes Of War (which didn't fulfill the other part of the clue).

Then I had to think of songs about people being "shot to pieces" and the first thought was The Longest Day :P

Gimme a minute and I'll think of a song and some clues.

Well, I thought for a moment that you did know the songs being in the clue came from The Gathering's record 'If_Then_Else'... :blink:

But, finally, your guess was just coincidental... And not linked with the 1st verse of Maiden's song which is "In the gloom the gathering storm abates"... That's amazing... :eek:

Btw, The Gathering songs in the clue were : "Rollercoaster", "Shot To Pieces", "Bad Movie Scene", "Amity", "Beautiful War" and, of course the name of the band, The Gathering. ;)
