Clue #2: Melvin - Adrian Smith's early 80's drunken alter ego, similar to Martin Birch's Marvin. Those 2 verses of WY are speaking about that:

And H wrote that.


Clue #3: Thin White Duke - One of David Bowie's characters. Wasted Years was originally named Golden Years, but it was renamed, because of David Bowie's song Golden Years.

Melvin=H, so I knew he wrote the song, I remembered the original name for WY and the fourth clue sealed it in for me :P

Well, damn. I've actually learned a piece of Maiden trivia from this thread! Surely this justifies all forum games now and in the future.

I figure your clues are self-explanatory? Or is there some sort of hidden meaning in them?
