mine is really maiden england (ain´t it official [!--emo&;)--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/wink.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'wink.gif\' /][!--endemo--]) but between these i get hammersmith

My favorite live album is Rock in Rio. I say this because I love the whole concept of it. It symbolizes Maiden's triumphant return. I slightly prefer it over Live After Death because Bruce sounds better and the setlist is longer.

"massacres"? Clive's drumming is brilliant, and I prefer his drumming on his own maiden-stuff (RTTH and Phantom on BOH for example), but the drumming from Piece Of Mind on is much better and complexer IMO

I've said Live after death.... maybe just because I've known Iron Maiden with this album

my vote goes to rock in rio for several reasons...

1. the playing was excellent
2. it was like a reunion for the whole band
3. the singing was great (better than previous live albums bruce really gives it his all) especially on the clansman i love that song but i find the rock in rio version a whole lot better than the original because the singing is horrible on the original and steve cant keep his tempo right
4. great performance and overall energy plus several songs were just magnificent like fear of the dark (probably the best version out there) oh and the intro before wicker man is awesome

i dont have bbc archive, beast over hammersmith or a real live/dead one but i would probably still pick rock in rio because it kicks ass

Rock In Rio,
For 2 reasons:
1.The Sign Of The Cross
2.The Clansman

I voted for Live After Death. I think it's the greatest live album of all time.

I agree, Maiden England is great. But it was only a home video; it was never released as an album, and therefore is ineligible for this poll.

The Rock in Rio DVD kicked ass. That's all I have to say [!--emo&B)--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/cool.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'cool.gif\' /][!--endemo--].

Live After Death for me. Huge tour, huge performances, looks just as good as it sounds. When can we have an official remastered DVD??? Rock In Rio is good but I can't bear to watch or listen to Jan murdering some of H's solos.

For me Live After Death is the best setlist, played at the peak of their power!

I voted for Rock in Rio, although there should of been an option for Maiden England. [!--emo&--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/bowdown.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'bowdown.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

Scroll up to post #36.

I picked Beast over Hammersmith beacouse one reasons: Another life!

Live at Donington because of raw live sound, which makes it fantastic. and Live after Death because of the technical skills and the clear productions.

my fav must be Live at Donington, because it sounds raw and live, which I like
