The fact that we are debating a reunification before the question of independence has even be determined has so many delicious levels of hilarity inherent to it.

But the question of independence has been proposed, so it's very much a what-if scenario.
 
True, but then we should start thinking about the question of Scottish independence after a reunification. :P
 
There was something on the news tonight about a public discussion of having English regional assemblies. Not actually doing it, just talking about it.
 
"We would be allowed to use the British pound!" - false.
"We would be automatically accepted into NATO/EU/etc" - false
"Scotland has huge oil reserves and we shouldn't share" - false
 
I'm pretty sure the First Minister said we'd keep the BBC as well, then started whining about how the BBC is biased towards the Union. IT'S CALLED THE FUCKING BRITISH BROADCASTING CORPORATION! WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU EXPECT? During the BBC's EU election coverage he complained to David Dimbleby about it and was pretty much laughed at.

Clackmannanshire, Western Isles, Inverclyde, Orkney & Shetland Islands, and Renfrewshire have voted No.
Dundee has voted Yes, presumably tired of unicorn invaders.
No ahead 50.9%-49.1%

West Dunbartonshire votes Yes by about 5,000 votes. No's lead down to under 1000 votes.
 
East Renfrewshire and East Dunbartonshire are both NO.
Aberdeen City goes no by over 25,000.
No: 55.9%
