Yea they should be in the studio now. From what I've heard though it's just Petrucci and JR, maybe Myung. Mangini is snowed in and JLB is in Canada (which is usual, he usually only joins the band for vocal recording). Sounds like everything is moving at their usual schedule.

As you all know, Mike Portnoy left Adrenaline Mob some time ago and was replaced by A. J. Pero who also played in Twisted Sister.

Well, A. J. Pero died few days ago, which prompted Twisted Sister to announce their farewell tour... with Mike Portnoy on drums. I'm serious.

He is the 4th(!) Twisted Sister drummer who died. I am also serious. (at least, according to wikipedia)
They could have used Joey "Seven" Franco, the only drummer besides Pero who played on a Twisted Sister studio album. Or one of their seventies drummers, e.g. Tony Petri (also featured on a live album, released in the nineties).

Worst job in the music business? Being drum roady of A.J. Pero. This dude had the most over the top drum kit ever! :bigsurprise:

I recently order Black Clouds and Silver Linings special edition (the 3 disc edition) on amazon, I just received it today, and there were four discs inside. Is it supposed to be like that?
