"Coming Home" announced as Iron Maiden's next single.

Every morning I awake is a beautiful morning, know why?  Because I know I will be there when this masterpiece is played live on the next tour.  My favorite new song since Infinite Dreams.  Top ten Maiden song all time.  Can't wait to hear it on the radio, and live!!!  We are all...."Coming Home!!!"

Making one person who thinks it's not a good song so far.

Count me in as well, as someone who is reserved about this track.
I like it, some of the best solos of the whole album but I find the chorus too sweet, too joyful. Almost gospel/church music. Praise the Lord! A HALLELUJAH chorus. Meh.

I wouldn't say it's not a good song but if I had to put the album into..

best 5 tracks &
worst 5 tracks

..it would be in the lower half.

This CD was only distributed to a VERY limited number of U.S. radio stations. It has not been made available in this form for sale to the general public.

So I guess this Ebay seller works at a radio station that won't be playing the single.

Hmm that's pretty rude indeed.

@LC, well hard to explain. With Maiden this is not my favourite "style". But I like the rest of the song a lot, so I'm still looking forward to hear it, even though I prefer at least 5 other TFF songs.

What's wrong with being happy-sounding?

I don't get Foro's aversion to happy songs.  "Coming Home" is certainly meant to be happy.  Bruce's voice reflects the meaning of the lyrics.  And he sings it with passion and conviction.

I guess Maiden's not much into doing b-sides anymore. Oh well.

I had noticed that, but with one of the videos surrounding the recording of AMOLAD, there was some coverage of "B-Sides Day". Adrian mentioned they were doing a Focus song (remember Focus?), a Thin Lizzy song and a ZZ Top song, which he refused to do.  :P

I wonder how far along these songs were in terms of development. IIRC, Hocus Pocus made it as a B-Side to one of the DVD singles, but the other two where never heard. I wonder if they were recorded, but not mixed or something?

Forgive me, but why on earth would I pay that much!?  Would anyone here?

Collectors pay silly money for the rarest things, however boring the item may be. I have paid out a bit on some promos in the past, but nothing anywhere near that amount.
