Collectors pay silly money for the rarest things, however boring the item may be. I have paid out a bit on some promos in the past, but nothing anywhere near that amount.
Completists, fetishists and masochists.  I'm glad you're not one of them.  :D ;)

It's a different matter if that b-side would be very rare. But it's only the album version, so I find these prices really ridiculous.

yep. that is the magical land where they play good music. (and you don't hear hotel california every ten minutes)

Why has Maiden stopped releasing singles to the public, its not like they don't chart because we always buy them, first singles easily get top ten?? and they will do even better now, I think they could have got a number one with Eldorado for example i really missed not getting the single for Final Frontier:(, , so to say the next single is 'Coming Home' is a blatent lie, its just a song to play on the radio, and why are they bothered about that, very few radio stations play Maiden so that ain't gonna change, I am totally confused about why 'Coming Home' is being released as an edit when very few people will hear it, whats the point!! ??

In order to fit into the neat radio time slots, you know where a song clocking in at 5:00 is considered a rarity and of an epic length.

On my station, Metallica's Master Of Puppets, Fade To Black, and One get played COMPLETELY UNEDITED. Hell, I'm quite sure I've even heard ...And Justice For All on there.

Yeah but Mainstream radio do not play Maiden, thats a well known fact that Maiden have never had or needed radio play to help sell records, so what is the point with this single if we can't buy it and why are the USA's Maiden record company now trying to get Maiden played on the radio when they have never needed it before, the few radio stations that do play Maiden will play the full song, they don't care for edits etc ??

Good point.  I haven't examined it much since I don't listen to the radio anyway.  But Maiden has done this before with 'Angel and the Gambler'.

If ever a song needed an edit, that's the one.  :(

You must live in heaven. Don't get me started about Italian radio...

But anyway, this is one hell of a single, IMO. What about the next being Starblind? Or The Alchemist?

starblind ????

once it gets to that melody after solos, every listener would have an eargasm and crash their car
