Classic Rock Clue Game III - Round 5 part 3

Very competitive this round. Everyone who has posted so far has at least two right, except Unknown One who is wrong on both. (Not that the guesses are bad, both those songs made the top 512.)

Question on 182: A lot going on in that photo. Is the Grateful Dead sticker of any significance, or is it a red herring?

Yes, there is quite a lot going on in that photo indeed ... :devil2:

I think one of my tricks backfired; everyone is going to fall for the trick question. So, an official modification to keep it interesting:

#188: A song about record company suits making promises to a young musician, and it's NOT "Have A Cigar".

If 182 is not the deadhead sticker on a Cadillac, you are a devious man indeed.

And I will switch 184 to Come Together and 186 to My Generation because of the clue

I had previously thought about Pink Cadillac by Bruce Springsteen, but I had ruled it out because (1) the car isn't pink and (2) I thought there's no way it would be on anyone's list of 500 greatest songs. But after reading SMX's post I looked up one list, and it was #149. Go figure. So that's my guess.

One of these is correct; this clue is now multiple choice.
Unknown One: Van Halen, "Panama"
mckindog: Don Henley, "The Boys Of Summer"
Cornfed Hick: Bruce Springsteen, "Pink Cadillac"

#181: Eternally seeking.
Night Prowler, mckindog: U2, "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"

Just under 2 days left, any more?

I'll go with the herd on 181 and guess U2, "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"
Also:
190. "Running on Empty" seems plausible.
189. "The Song Is Over" by The Who is the best I could come up with.

There was no red herring, until CFH asked for one. :devil2:

2 points to mckindog.
"Pink Cadillac" is #729.

#181: Eternally seeking.
181. U2, "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"

Round 3 clues

#180: Something you'd want at a casino, or singles bar.
#179: Unofficial state anthem where Mosh and SMX live.
#178:
TS_Bulloo.jpg
#177: A request to not be treated badly.
#176: Like "California Girls", but older.
#175: A song in time signature 7/4.
#174: Chess after dark?
#173: Artist name is a musical instrument. Awkward is the grammar.
#172: 16-letter title. The first ten letters of the title contain the same 4-letter combination twice. The last 6 letters contain the same 2-letter combo twice. You can spell the name of a Brad Pitt movie with the remaining letters.
#171:

Some of these should be easy... have at it!

174. Night Moves, by Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band
176. L.A. Woman, by The Doors
177. Don't Do Me Like That, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers

180. Tumbling Dice, by The Rolling Stones
173. Lonely Is the Night, by Billy Squier

172 is maddening. I thought about Mississippi Queen and De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da, but neither works.

Recapping/updating my guesses (often piggybacking on mckindog):

#180: Something you'd want at a casino, or singles bar. Money, Pink Floyd [in case #175 is Solsbury Hill]
#179: Unofficial state anthem where Mosh and SMX live. Rocky Mountain Way, Joe Walsh
#178: <saddle pic> Slow Ride, Foghat
#177: A request to not be treated badly. Don't Do Me Like That, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers
#176: Like "California Girls", but older. L.A. Woman, The Doors
#175: A song in time signature 7/4. Money, Pink Floyd
#174: Chess after dark? Night Moves, Bob Seger
#173: Artist name is a musical instrument. Awkward is the grammar. Lonely Is the Night, Billy Squier
#172: 16-letter title. The first ten letters of the title contain the same 4-letter combination twice. The last 6 letters contain the same 2-letter combo twice. You can spell the name of a Brad Pitt movie with the remaining letters. I have no fucking idea.
#171: <shuffling madness vid> Locomotive Breath, Jethro Tull

The only Brad Pitt movie that I can think of with 4 letters in it's name is Troy if that helps at all.

180: Money - Pink Floyd
179: Rocky Mountain Way - Joe Walsh
175: Solsbury Hill - Peter Gabriel
173: Lonely Is the Night - Billy Squier
172: With Or Without You - U2
