I am definitely a dog person. Dogs make us much more sociable people as we often strike up a conversation with a total stranger whilst walking a dog. As someone who has owned both cats and dogs I can vouch the only conversation I have had with a stranger over my cat is to apologise to the neighbour when they killed a bird in their garden
