Well 4:20 PM could also the time the single would be released. Now if it’s UK time or US that’s gonna be difficult to figure. If it’s 4:20 PM US time, that would 1-1:30 AM in India.

A shop in my town used to do that on the reg. Normally it would just be something onsale on the Friday if the official release was Monday but I do remember getting a Wildhearts album the weekend before it was due out. The internet was different then though so leaks weren't a big thing.

I used to think that too, at some point it has come to my attention that there might not be "next week" for everyone. So nowadays I listen those leaks right away.
