It looks like it will be released in 2 weeks time (later than usual?) - here's a preview from Z2.

The art of issue #4 is a nod to The Tower:

Thank you for that information.
They haven't even bothered to write a summary. I would have been interested to know exactly what the topic/plot of this episode is.

Regarding the deleted video. I only listened to a few minutes and thought Roy sounded enthusiastic about the Mandrake Project.
But I thought I could listen to the rest later...

The comic was officially released yesterday.

But look what I found by chance while searching for an interview for TMP. I think it's a recent video. Bruce backstage with Maiden thanking the fans for the success of the new album and attending the the tour - and then said they're planning something new and watch this space.

I doubt it's the dates for the 2nd leg of the solo tour (expected, so he wouldn't use the word new, right) or the expected live album/video from it. With Bruce you never know, but I hope that this something new will be soon. Given this teaser from him, I think TMP tour will only be 2 years. Or could he release a new album next year? Naah. What about just one new song/single with the solo band?

It's his video for Spotify wrapped.

Sure, but he still teases something new solo while on tour with Maiden. Like Adrian did now. I doubt it's something new for the platform? Although watch this space could suggest that.

re: just getting off stage, there's music in the background, is someone going on after Maiden at these gigs?

He said last year they wanted to tour America, so I suspect it will be this tour. Probably want to go to South America to tour TMP as well before releasing anything new.

I am not a fan club member, that’s why I only now saw the newsletter with this info:
“The Mandrake Project is going strong and only getting more wonderfully weird. Issue 4 is out now, and you can grab it online here or from all fine comic sellers.

But no summary of the plot. Only that it is “weird”. :D

Bill Sienkiewicz did the covers? He's followed Maiden for a long while on instagram, he's probably a fan. Even a high profile guy like him must've been fanboying over this.

Tour (2nd leg) in the fall in SA and NA (I assume) - expected. Now let's wait and see what Adrian's touring plans are for next year. Both Maiden and Bruce can write early then. I doubt Steve will be doing some solo shows early next year, although who knows.

perhaps I'll grow tired of The Mandrake Project during the next months or so. But as of now it sure sounds great!
Just passing by to confirm this: yup, I still haven't got tired of TMP. More: the easy listening and straight forward nature of the record allows me to get back to it several times and enjoy it almost like it was the first time I listened to it. Is it perfect? No. Is it a majestic masterpiece like TCW? Negative. Is it a great album cleverly composed and without many of the traits that IMO make recent Maiden albums age badly? Absolutely. So, yeah... I keep playing it regularly and the fact it still sounds 100% "fresh" speaks volumes about the album's quality in an age when my interest in the majority of recent Metal releases dwindles fast.

If the music app on my computer is to be trusted I haven't listened to any of the TMP songs since April. Yeah, that tracks. Haven't had the desire to revisit any of them either. I'm glad others are enjoying it, but I'm looking forward to Bruce's next release which will hopefully consist of entirely new music (or as much new music as possible) instead of a hodgepodge spanning literal decades.

The signed edition of issue #4 is limited to 333 compared to the 666 for previous issues:

Sales of the comics must be going through the roof!!

Well said. Despite all its (clear) flaws, I really think all ideas have something in them, something memorable, which is rare. Interesting and varied album for sure, but I don't doubt Bruce. Easy and impactful listen as a whole, even with the last 3 slow songs. I think the vibe which the album creates is the key.
I like the style of the songs, but for the next album I'm curious to hear again some proper old school or modern fast metal from him. Maybe if he writes something with his new solo band. But he said he now prefers to create emotions rather than the formulaic approach.

Tbh, I also want to hear some brand new material with his solo band, idk if Bruce and Roy will work again, but I guess he will want to use the leftovers, which according to them are quite a few, plus they put down some new ideas last year. And Bruce has talked about showing his new band the demos. If he records with them, let's hope they'll improve the overall playing and both guitarists will add their solos. Again, if Roy isn't used, but since Bruce said ''he can't wait to show them''... Chris already recorded a solo for TMP.

Well I've never even heard of Z2 and I am very much into comics. For the looks of it, they are one of those publishers like IDW or Boom which thrive off umbrella type marketing. In this case, they want Maiden fans to buy their comics because they fully know they are going to buy it because Bruce made it. On the other hand, it's very common for a first issue to sell well and the dip like a rock into the depths of the ocean.
