Almost two years have passed and "Greek cunt" is still a thing. Amazing.
What is it exactly that irks people? Bruce thought all Greeks are cunts? All cunts are Greek? Would it be better if he just called him a cunt? "You Greek!" somehow sounds even worse. Like, "I don't know what he meant with that, but since he said it, it must be something racist."
Hand to the heart, everybody who has been to a live gig almost always witness "some cunt". Statistically speaking: you surround yourself with a huge number of people - somebody has got to be a cunt.
Maiden fan base is usually a nice bunch of people, but I believe there has been a cunt on every Maiden gig I've attended. I haven't met all the cunts on all the gigs, but there must've been because... statistics.
These past few tours the audience is great, there have been a lot more cunts when I started seeing Maiden live. I remember this period from 2005-2010 where a huge chunk of the audience would "boo" the opening acts. Now, that's a cunt-ish behavior. The longer their sets were - louder "boo"s became. Cunts were even throwing beer at the stage back in 2008 when Avenged Sevenfold opened for them. Everybody got a fair share of cunt-ism. Except Laureen. Nobody had the balls. And Austin, too. Since then, booing and throwing stuff on stage died away (thankfully).
