If somebody asked me, how to promote the first single of your solo career in 18 years, where you are centerpiece and one of the most renowed singers... This is certainly not the way.
I just have no excuse not to attend the Sofia show. Awesome!
Lots of dates, btw. Some arenas too!
Nailed on for Graspop surelyNot a Belgian show either but 2 Holland dates.
so that weird european store with the vinyl preoder leak was right...Teaser!
MAYBE we will get some official soundboard content from this tour...27–30 – Hellfest, Clisson, FRANCE *
I agree. But I think a lot of fans will like this heavy approach to the vocals. If somebody asked me, how to promote the first single of your solo career in 18 years, where you are centerpiece and one of the most renowed singers... This is certainly not the way.
I like the modern approach of the song, just not the chorus. It's far cry from melodic. If Eternity Should Fail's chorus slays it. Now that's melodic. I understand he wants something different (probably only for 1 song), but I think this is too different. If this is the post-chorus, then it's different, although I still won't like the effects. It's like Bruce is trying too hard. I agree with your second comment.About the teaser of the new single, I find it very bizarre and a little bit too modern for me. I rather like the old heavy Bruce Dickinson style on AOB, TCW and TOS. I even prefer TM, BTP and SW.
So you heard the chorus? Because for all we know this may be just a bridge or some other part.I agree. But I think a lot of fans will like this heavy approach to the vocals.
Bruce doesn't need that chorus effect, especially with his voice now. I never thought Bruce would allow such effects on a record. The chorus will be much better without it. It would be like Killing Floor's chorus.

Yeah, the keyboards were very much power metal to my ears and not in a good way. Actually I'm not sure there is a way to resemble power metal in a positive sense but that's another topic entirely.Agreed. Also, I know it is just a snippet, but the keyboards remind me of cheesy, cheap power metal.
Well, maybe writing for so many years caught him confused with a lot of themes. The later part of the themes is pure Bruce. Given the pyramid that was in the first teaser, I thought the album will have some ancient or even space theme. I really hoped for that. This all sounds like something Devin Townsend would do around 2011.
I hope it's a bridge, but it sounds like a chorus to me. Whatever it is, I'm not a fan of it.So you heard the chorus? Because for all we know this may be just a bridge or some other part.
That's not very likely, unfortunately.maybe... he is keeping the Adrian news for the ticket strategy. They will anounce him later and made the second wave or sth.
I like the chaotic atmosphere the keys add. Also, I know it is just a snippet, but the keyboards remind me of cheesy, cheap power metal.
Nailed on for Graspop surely
I am looking at London and Oslo. Two gigs should do it for me.
Amazing. We have 10 seconds of music and people are already complaining.
