The riff is really cool (with a bit of a gallop feel), but what is this chorus? Doesn't even sound like Bruce. Meh. I can't believe I'm saying this. This is too different for me. Well, I have to wait for the full song.

Maybe he's going the Dream Theater route of using a keyboard player for the rhythm parts. Personally I'd rather just have an actual rhythm guitarist but what do I know?

The social media post for the single says that the B-Side is If Eternity Should Fail (Demo), so this is probably what Steve originally heard and decided it should be co-opted for Maiden. I'd expect in that case it has been cut from Bruce's album.

I expect that too and I have no problem with that - but maybe he will add the regular version to the album (like he did with some AOB songs).

The demo had one less verse, iirc.

Yeah, the band won't have that power live. That's a bit sad. He needs a 2nd guitar. Roy will play Adrian's solos? I guess it would have been too good to have Adrian back in the band...
