I was not referring to his solo career, as he had different bands then and it was not a one man show.

Either way, the results of that solo career were much better than DiAnno's.

The statement is ambiguous, they could be demos, they could be completely finished, they might not even be demoed!

I think that if Roy is mouthing off then it's more likely they are recorded. For Tyranny of Souls Bruce showed up for 2 weeks. They don't need him to record the music. Any delay is not down to Bruce not having time to work, it's down to not having a suitable break from Maiden to release it.
