Re: "Perfect" Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #6 Finals)

I'm glad I'm not left in this place so all aloooooooone (to vote for)

Re: "Perfect" Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #7)

SiaSL beats DoM by several votes to win Track #6!

Track #7 songs are up. I'm voting for the TFF song on this one. Starblind is a beautiful song.

Re: "Perfect" Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #7)

Wow. Looks like Starblind is their first-ever classic track seven.

Re: "Perfect" Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #7)

Powerslave, this "contest" isn't even close.

Re: "Perfect" Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #7)

Not fair to put Starblind and Powerslave on the same number.

Would you rather Starblind at #8 then?  :smartarse:

Re: "Perfect" Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #7)

The only one to challenge Starblind was Powerslave, but even so, it wasn't a real competition.  Starblind is new and awesome, Powerslave is just awesome.

When I saw number 7, I thought "oh shit, that's Paschendale and Starblind".  But, it seems Paschendale is 8th.  That should be easy. :D

Re: "Perfect" Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #7)

Damn, Starblind or Powerslave?

I went with Starblind because Powerslave will win anyway.

#8 has Paschendale, but there's also ROTAM, don't forget about that.

Re: "Perfect" Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #7)

Some songs here are just not that great (Gangland, DLTTEOAS, QFF, New Frontier). Some are really good, but often overlooked (Strange World, The Fugitive, Deja-Vu, Judgement of Heaven). Some are good but not great (Run Silent Run Deep, Fallen Angel, Ben Breeg), and then we have a pack of great songs.

Killers, Powerslave, Starblind and The Clairvoyant are all top shelf material. I see some have already given love to Starblind, stating "Powerslave will win anyway". Well, some should make sure that happens.

I vote Powerslave. The three others share second.

Re: "Perfect" Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #7)

Starblind. One of the best songs Maiden ever wrote.

I chose this one but Powerslave, Benjamin Breeg and New Frontier were tough competition.

Re: "Perfect" Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #7)

If previous history has shown anything, Paschendale cannot stand against Rime. I think that is wrong, I think that is criminal, it makes me want to access the thread code to see what heretics voted against Paschendale, but it is fact.
