What a really immense round. André Matos (RIP) is pretty iconic singer in the South American metal scene (and worldwide), Ann Wilson helped turn rock from a male-dominated scene, Eddie Vedder’s powerful drawl helped define grunge, and Russell Allen is the Dio disciple who ended up becoming as good as (if not better than) the master. Overall, I have to go for Allen. A really competent singer with a lot of bite but also very soulful at the same time. Plus he’s gonna be playing with prog rockers which is kinda his forte anyway.
