@Night Prowler
I don't have time to look through 107 pages of filth. When did Buckethead, Mike Patton, and Les Claypool exit this shitshow?

Best Guitarist Ever - Top 10
01. Tony Iommi
02. Alex Lifeson
03. John Petrucci
04. Ritchie Blackmore
05. Buckethead
06. Gary Moore
07. Glenn Tipton
08. Dave Mustaine
09. David Gilmour
10. Joe Satriani

Best Bassist Ever - Top 10
01. Geddy Lee
02. Geezer Butler
03. John Myung
04. Chris Squire
05. Flea
06. Phil Lynott
07. Roger Waters
08. Bootsy Collins
09. John Paul Jones
10. Sting

Buckethead finished 5th for guitarists, Les Claypool didn't crack the top 10 bassists, and Mike Patton didn't make it out of the group stage because he was unfortunate enough to have Freddie Mercury in his group.

Eliminated after Round 95:
Tarja Turunen
Mikael Åkerfeldt

Promoted after Round 95:
Matt Barlow
Floor Jansen

Glenn Hughes (BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION, BLACK SABBATH, DEEP PURPLE)
vs.
Serj Tankian (solo, SYSTEM OF A DOWN)

Freddie Mercury (solo, QUEEN)
vs.
Tim "Ripper" Owens (CHARRED WALLS OF THE DAMNED, ICED EARTH, JUDAS PRIEST)

Hughes would be the better fit for our band, by far, but I can't not vote for Serj.

I respect the hell out of Queen, and Mercury, but they've never really been a band that I cared all that much about listening to. Meanwhile I've always been quite fond of Ripper's work. Even though I know he's going to get slaughtered.

Tankian and Ripper.

BTW I spent waaaay too much time looking at the "(solo, SYSTEM OF A DOWN)" wondering whether you put "solo" first alphabetically because it counts as "solo" or because it counts as "Serj", 'cause it would work both ways.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just noticed that with Mercury "solo" is also before Queen, so it counts as the name of the artist.
