As a matter of fact, I googled all four and found out Layne Staley was the only one whose vocals I liked, even though I'm definitely not a fan of the band. So it is a honestly held opinion.

It's not meant to be a complaint with regard to the way the game is set up. Just lamenting the luck of it.

Dio by far. I'd rather have kept Bach over either of the other two, though. Fallon has my least favourite style of the pair, so Simons it is.

Dio. Bach was great in the studio, but pitchy live even in his hayday. Ultimately burned his voice in a relatively short period of time. Guess he never sang in a sustainable way. Dio on the other hand had a great, commanding voice until his dying day (although be did tune down a full step live the last 10 years or so).

About the Lifeson-Petrucci-other guitarists discussion from a few pages ago: I’m a huge fan of John Petrucci, who has never hesitated to name Alex Lifeson as (one of) his biggest influence on the guitar. The guys have a lot of respect for each other, so why fight over who is better?
