I was gonna vote for IE's album but I liked it a lot more than I remembered when I relistened to it. So for now, I'll pick on one of my least favorite of the "classic" Van Halen albums. Truthfully, the only Van Halen album I see going very far is the debut anyway.

Entering the game is 2009-12

Housekeeping: for some reason during the 2009-12 nomination round, the bottom four albums got cut off from the original album list. They have been added back into the game. And because we have so many new albums entering the game, I am going to hold off on the next round of nominations for a round.

This new bunch of albums is really interesting to me. Some of them are excellent, others are ":huh: really?"
Few will be well-known across the forum and none has been around long enough to be considered a classic.
I expect a real mishmash of votes and am very curious to see which ones stick around.

Fair Warning and Nevermind are two favorites of mine. Didn't deserve to go so early. One of these completely changed the popular music scene.

Would you be more specific? When is the next round of nominations, which era is it and what does it imply when you say "hold off for a round". Thanks :)
I do hope that every era gets the same treatment.
