With Oden On Our Side joins the game!

Some really great songs have already been eliminated. :/
Silent Gods
Fate of Norns
With Oden On Our Side is a fine album, but not a great title track imo (the Maidenish melody isn't that cool and repeated too often). The opener (despite its great ending) and Asator I also find less good than Loke. I mean, they are heavy and fast, but in this band speed is not that important to me. It's about cool riffs, vocals and melodies, and darkness/threatening atmosphere. Loke has great couplets.

That said, Loke is also less than Runes, Gods of War and the last three. I gotta be stricter now, I'm afraid.

The title track is one of the weakest songs on the album, and yet it is still like an 8/10 from me. Valhall and Asator definitely have those cool riffs you were talking about and both those songs would not work as well if they were slower and more midpaced. Sure Amon Amarth do the midpaced song very very well, but even in the faster heavier songs, they are catchy as anything.
