That's a perfect summary of the thoughts I had too.
I think many had the impression with Bruce's album that it was finished a bit rushed. Maybe Adrian should have worked on his a bit longer too, let new ideas develop, maybe find new collaborations, etc., etc.

Hmm, now I'm almost wondering what's going on, that they all think they have to release something as quickly as possible, Adrian in the middle of the tour too...

They have been recording the whole spring AFAIK. Adrian spent much more time in LA than usual.
 
But recording and developing new ideas are different.
I don't have much experience with this, do you think Bruce and Adrian make a lot of money with their solo record + touring?

You would normally think they have enough but I remember a time where Bruce made a lot of jokes about needing money. Of course, just jokes, but sometimes people come up with a joke because there's a little truth behind it.
 
It is four years since the first album. How long would they take to write 10 songs?

Kotzen is an incredibly prolific writer anyway, Adrian used to be back in the day for Maiden.

Richie actually co-wrote a Winery Dogs album and wrote and released a 50 song solo album in between.

They all need a new album to tour. Adrian and Richie's material definitely feels finished. What else do you expect with this style. With metal and especially Bruce's different styles to say it's different. No missing parts. They had 4 years to write. And as Bruce said, Adrian always had riffs and ideas.
 
Slightly off-topic but Ritchie bears more than a passing resemblance to Sebastian Baumann, the bassist of Dartagnan:

They probably break even. Otherwise the record label won’t give them a budget for a new album.
Maybe Bruce earns a little more due to playing festivals. But it’s peanuts compared to touring with Maiden and doing conferences. I don’t think Adrian or Steve for that matter earns any money doing their side projects. It’s not like they drive and sleep in a van anymore, or fly economy class. They are grown men who rather pay for a little more comfort doing what they love (to play music), than bringing home the bacon
 
Enjoyed the hell out of the first album.

The EP and this new single is just exactly the same stuff regurgitated again. It all sounds like the same song over and over and over again. There’s no variety or unique ideas in any song.

They’re yet to improve over “Taking My Chances”, “Scars” and “Running” which were the singles in 2021.
