That's a tune.
Nice stuff!
Well, nice and tasty rock. It needs more listening, but it's catchy enough. Adrian with a short but nice solo, as always. Kotzen is more up front again. The song continues the sound of the debut, maybe a bit heavier. Psycho Morel-esque riffs. The promo campaign reminded me of Bruce's. Cool effects in the video. I want to see Maiden in such a video again. The album cover is glam metal-esque lol.
Nice stuff!
I mean, yeah, it's inoffensive, feel-good blues rock by a couple of guys looking for a creative outlet that isn't overwrought with red tape or gimmicks. Is it breaking any boundaries or pushing any limits? Definitely not.I don't feel this type of rock at all. Some poser/strutter stuff. No offense.
Reminds me faintly of Outshined by Soundgarden.
Good stuff, I definitely hear the slight resemblance to Outshined (also with Kotzen always sounding like Cornell).
I hope Adrian can ride this thing into a post-Maiden career. I'd go see this live, even being unfamiliar with the material.
Some interesting titles. Also, the album title is split into two songs - two title tracks! Kevin Shirley is the producer I assume.
That's what Adrian likes. And it's not that far from his 80's and 90's projects. The overall vibe is 70's, the music that Adrian grew up with. I prefer them too, but this is sort of a continuation of that sound. It is made for fun and creative thoughts, inoffensive material.I don't feel this type of rock at all.
Kevin Shirley is the producer I assume.
They did a good job. Definitely a different production than Maiden."Recorded at The House, Los Angeles, California, produced by Richie and Adrian and mixed by Jay Ruston"
Lots of praise in the press release. Hmm. I wonder if the album will contain some more metal stuff. A project for the future - it is said to be. The mentioned old bands perfectly describe their style. Smith/Kotzen DNA, wow.
