Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

The H model is about a grand cheaper than I would have expected it to be.

For a made in Mexico model with an FR1000, I think these are actually pretty expensive.

The new Dave model is over $500 more than the previous MIM signature model, and there is nothing in the specs that would justify the increase the price.

I was thinking about it, but seeing the price, I think I'll stick with my original plan of a HSS player 2 in black, black pickguard, custom made humbucker and middle pickups, DiMarzio Blues stacked SC in neck, locking tuners, 1 volume and 1 tone and a Gotoh 510 bridge. Gilmour switch and neck pickup phase reversal on a push-pull tone. Both controls 500k, volume audio and tone linear. And a hi-pass filter on volume control.

Will still be 600 euros cheaper.

Kinda sucks that they put the SD '59 into the black Murray Strat. Going for 2 bridge JB's would be the most accurate or even SH-2 (Jazz/JB neck) would be a better match to Dave's current tone.

Janick's signature seems to be the exact same guitar as Vintera II 60s Strat except it comes with Duncans and black finish. Literally all the specs are the same. And you can get that Vintera for less than €1000 new. I'd love to have the signature, but this is such a rip off. It bothers me, because I've always wished they made one and when they did, the price is absurd and they wouldn't even sell it to me because it's a "web exclusive" and fender.com takes orders from just a few countries.

And Adrian's is basically a HSS Charvel with different pickups and headstock.

What bothers me the most is that they haven't even released the Janick Strat with current specs.... Black parts and Hot Rails in the middle.

What bothers me is, and it might be silly, but I've always thought Janick was cool because he plays in such a large band using a basic guitar with modified pickups. No fancy neck, bridge, etc., and here we have a premium-priced guitar that doesn't quite match what he plays (in terms of looks, let's be honest – Janick's guitar looks are also his signature). Rest is great but I think that I can spend 1/3 of this price to modify my strat to the one that dave has.
