I love the black P bass and the Adrian SC1. I'm also glad Janick is finally getting a Fender signature haha.

For a made in Mexico model with an FR1000, I think these are actually pretty expensive.

The new Dave model is over $500 more than the previous MIM signature model, and there is nothing in the specs that would justify the increase the price.

I was thinking about it, but seeing the price, I think I'll stick with my original plan of a HSS player 2 in black, black pickguard, custom made humbucker and middle pickups, DiMarzio Blues stacked SC in neck, locking tuners, 1 volume and 1 tone and a Gotoh 510 bridge. Gilmour switch and neck pickup phase reversal on a push-pull tone. Both controls 500k, volume audio and tone linear. And a hi-pass filter on volume control.

Will still be 600 euros cheaper.

Love that new collection, finally some recognition to Janick haha, love all the guitars and the bass. Also, I would have preferred Adrian's Jackson to be HSH so that it would be a direct homage to his 1986 Jackson, but anyway, very nice homage to

I'm not generally a pre-relic kinda guy. I think natural wear is best....

But Janick's one should definitely be more beaten up

Kinda sucks that they put the SD '59 into the black Murray Strat. Going for 2 bridge JB's would be the most accurate or even SH-2 (Jazz/JB neck) would be a better match to Dave's current tone.

That was a JB ’59 on his CAR Jackson, right?

I think those could've been Jackson humbuckers, same as on Adrian's Jackson. The black-humbucker cream Strat had JB-59 for sure.

I think the Les Paul Axcess still has this combo, while the HSH Strats have 2 bridge JB's.
