    Favorite Maiden Lyrics

To my mind, I do believe that When the Wild Wind Blows has intrigued me ever since I started listening to it in depth. When listening to the lyrics, it has all the makings of an incredibly dark tone, and is definitely a game changer, throwing The Final Frontier completely off course, and ending...

Create your own Iron Maiden setlist!

Damn! I can never come up with a good idea:p

Create your own Iron Maiden setlist!

Not if there's a specific list of songs. If Maiden make a number of set lists before the tour, then the band can learn them and rehearse before the tour gets going. This way, they can learn the songs they haven't played, while refreshing themselves with better known ones......if that makes sense?

Create your own Iron Maiden setlist!

I'm sure a band would probably remember their tracks, or least rehearse them regularly

Create your own Iron Maiden setlist!

No idea earthier Cried. Anyway, I'd probably call mine 'The History Tour' and play songs from every album. Each show will alternate by constantly chopping songs with others. Also, this will be Iron Maiden's on Social Media based tour, where fans who are going to a certain concert can suggest...

    Favorite Maiden Lyrics

"Have you ever been alone at night? Thought you heard footsteps behind. Turn around, no one's there! And, as you quicken up your pace, you find it hard to look again, because you're sure that someone's there" "I'm just a lonely soldier, fighting in a bloody, hopeless war! Don't know what I'm...

    Bruce's Maiden England performance

I wouldn't be so sure. Not disputing your claim, but there are aspects of Bruce's performance that would put a vocal strain on any 55 year old. At a stretch, I'd say about 5 years. 7 maybe, but there is no way he could continue into his mid-60s

    Bruce's Maiden England performance

That video of Hallowed is absolutely awful. It feels like nobody wanted to play it, they were just intent on rushing it Personally, Bruce's voice did sound tired at points, to me. But, he can still put on a hell of a show for the audience, and I'd say he still has another 2-3 years of...

5 favorite Maiden albums, 3 favorites from each

I think I have to rectify my list. I'm throwing out IM, and placing Seventh Son on top, with 'Moonchild', 'The Clairvoyant' and 'SSOASS' making up my list

    Maiden songs

So far, out of my albums, I have to say that Seventh Son is my favourite album upon listening to it. It far outweighs Powerslave and NOTB, which were two of my favourites

    Maiden songs

I'm in the process of collecting all the albums on CD, and then putting them on my phone to listen to when I'm out and about I'm on my iPad right now, so I'm happy to hear any suggestions that you guys have, so I can search it on YouTube

    Phantom of the Opera

But, it's not played exhaustively, which makes it feel fresh. There are plenty of songs that, to me, sound tiresome played live these days NOTB RTTH Trooper FOTD Hallowed Iron Maiden Running Free Apart from Hallowed, these have been on pretty much every setlist, and it's just boring hearing...

    Phantom of the Opera

Notice the word 'frequently' after 'never played live'. Then the sentence will make sense

    Phantom of the Opera

Definitely my favourite song on the album. The production quality isn't great, but the vocal speed fits superbly with the speed of the song. Throughout the solo, it keeps progressing, featuring some extremely clever swaps throughout, building up to the next stage and leaves the listener...

    Maiden songs

As it has been duly noted, I have yet to listen to Maiden's entire discography, only listening to 9 of the 15 albums partially Iron Maiden - Sanctuary, Running Free, Phantom, Charlotte and Iron Maiden Killers - Wrathchild The Number of the Beast - Invaders, Prisoner, NOTB, RTTH, Hallowed Piece...

    Iron Maiden Compilation Album

If you could put 15 songs on an Iron Maiden compilation album, studio and live, which songs would you choose, and what would you call it? I'd call mine 'Iron Maiden - The Epics' 1) Powerslave 2) Phantom of the Opera ( Donington '13) 2) The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg 3) Hallowed Be Thy...

Possible Reasons For the Lack of New Music

Basically, I'd put it down to the band maybe nearing retirement. Since 2003, we've only had 3 albums in a decade, opposed to 8 in 8 years during the 80s. And, because of their revenue, they really don't need any new material

Maiden England 2012-2013 Official DVD possibilities

I wouldn't mind a live DVD from this year's Download. It hasn't been done for a while, and barely any of the setlist from that night has gone viral
