Not if there's a specific list of songs. If Maiden make a number of set lists before the tour, then the band can learn them and rehearse before the tour gets going. This way, they can learn the songs they haven't played, while refreshing themselves with better known ones......if that makes sense?

I'm sure a band would probably remember their tracks, or least rehearse them regularly

I wouldn't be so sure. Not disputing your claim, but there are aspects of Bruce's performance that would put a vocal strain on any 55 year old. At a stretch, I'd say about 5 years. 7 maybe, but there is no way he could continue into his mid-60s

So far, out of my albums, I have to say that Seventh Son is my favourite album upon listening to it. It far outweighs Powerslave and NOTB, which were two of my favourites

Definitely my favourite song on the album. The production quality isn't great, but the vocal speed fits superbly with the speed of the song. Throughout the solo, it keeps progressing, featuring some extremely clever swaps throughout, building up to the next stage and leaves the listener...

Basically, I'd put it down to the band maybe nearing retirement. Since 2003, we've only had 3 albums in a decade, opposed to 8 in 8 years during the 80s. And, because of their revenue, they really don't need any new material
