The interviewer obviously didn’t do his homework on Adrian first, and seemed embarrassingly ignorant about metal in general, but Adrian was a good sport and kept the interview interesting regardless.

actually Sam Dunn knows Maiden and metal very much, he is the man behind Flight 666, Headbanger's Journey and that Rush documentary and all... But on this video, he thinks he's interviewing Satriani or Vai. Not the right questions to be asked to Maiden members. Maiden guys dont like fancy questions and they dont try to look intellectual for the sake of the interview. Still yeah, H is doing his best

Huh. His questions made him sound clueless, like someone who had no idea how the blues influenced metal, and who had apparently heard of Helloween enough to bring them up twice, but didn’t already know that Adrian had cowritten songs with Kai Hansen for Michael Kiske’s Instant Clarity album. It was an embarrassingly bad interview performance if he knew better and was just playing dumb.

Steve says in a recent interview that NPFTD was influenced by Bruce's debut solo album. Curious to know. Really strong album!!!
''I think it’s a really strong album. At the time, we had gotten so big, with all the grandiose shows, that we were trying to go back to basics a little bit. If I'm totally honest, I think it was slightly influenced by Bruce's solo album, Tattooed Millionaire [also released in 1990, earlier], where he was trying to get a bit more basic. There are a couple of songs on there where he sings a bit rougher. I was thinking I could write something where he could sing with that gruff delivery as well. If someone says they don’t like something, that makes me embrace it even more. You’ve got to believe in what do, don’t you?''
Live sounding production would have made it worse (like Tailgunner video), Steve seems to want everything to be ''live''. Why would you want a live noise in the studio, I don't get it, it's so bad.
