Same. It feels more like an Axl Rose solo record. My issue with it is how overproduced it ended up, basically stitched together from a dozen different musicians. If it had come out in 2002 when it was basically finished, I think the reception would've been way better.I like Chinese Democracy as well, you just need to approach it as not a Guns n Roses album. It's a good album otherwise.
For me now Gnr doesnt exists i love them i heard any new song or album but im not going to see them live. Its waiting song after song if axl sounds good in any song. And slash at the moment he improvises too nuch his solos. Like murray in the lazy daysEach to their, totes obvs but for me Guns n Roses didn't exist until Slash and Duff came back.
Chinese Democracy is a curiosity for me, nothing more.
