RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

Something I didn't see anyone mention from Thursday's show in Stockholm is that I'm sure Bruce said shouted out Ullevi twice during Iron Maiden hahahahaha
I thought I heard him shouted that once during the gig, but decided I misheard.

Something I didn't see anyone mention from Thursday's show in Stockholm is that I'm sure Bruce said shouted out Ullevi twice during Iron Maiden hahahahaha
The last three times they've been through and I saw them, Bruce insists on shouting, "scream for me, Minneapolis!!!"

I'm in the crowd thinking, "we're in St. Paul, bro."

Bruce has been introducing him from the stage as "Our new drummer," "the newest member of Iron Maiden" and similar terms without specifying "for this tour" or "our new touring drummer."

Not trying to create any kind of conspiracy topics at all...just observing. Likely means nothing.

Individual songs will show up after the gigs in a given city but you gotta catch them or risk them being pulled down. And full shows..? Other than one of the Budapest shows, fuhgeddaboutit.

Ullevi gig is the peak of reunion Maiden.
Indeed, great times and I can't believe it's 20 years ago soon.
It was neat to see Ullevi-show live on tv and one of my friends was visiting me when we watched the show.
Hehe, I just then told him that I had seen Maiden couple days ago..my friend just went like "That's very cool etc".

I think Ozzfest final gig is also a peak, I really love the intensity, the rage and energy in that one. Unfortunately there are only some bad bootlegs.

So. I've had some time now to digest the two Stockholm shows and wanted to write something about my feelings afterwards. For context, this is the first time I'm going two days in a row for this type of bigger show, and I was curious about how that would feel, how my energy going into the first night versus the second night would feel. And work in between and all that.

But it was amazing. Loved walking toward the arena and seeing all different kinds of Maiden fans, both younger and older. Many parents + kids combo which always warns the heart. The younger Metalheads were out in force, and it's nice to see the newer generation starting to take more place. I'm speaking like an old man I know, but with this being my 7th and 8th Maiden show, I feel like a bit of a veteran now.

I got two shirts, the Nordic Event Tee and the Powerslave one. The Dive Bars were great, loved the community feeling that Metal shows and Maiden shows provide. I went solo the first night, and with my mother and best friend the second night and they loved every minute of it. Amazing weather especially during the friday, and I had good energy going into both nights. Skipped Halestorm the second night, they were good but not something I needed to see twice.

The performance was amazing, I've already commented on Simon but wanted to give him some praise also, he killed it on Rime both nights. And the band as a whole was much tighter on the Friday show, especially Dave, it really felt like his show, he was on fire both nights!

I hope it's not the last time I see the band, it really feels like there's still fire in the engine, but after everything with Nicko you can't take anything for granted, so I was really focused on taking it all in and really just being in the moment.

There were some phones out, but it was far less than usual, and only during specific songs, so the message seems to work for most of the audience.

Sorry for the rambling, just wanted to get my thoughts out. This is my favourite band of all time, and I always feel a bit sad after a show, you wait for almost a year and then it's over like that. But now I just focus on trying to relive the memories and enjoy the fact that my favourite band of all time performed live in 2025, and with this type of performance! This is a special tour, and I hope you all get to enjoy it when it's your turn.

I think I will leave at Iron Maiden to save myself the embarrassment in front of my friends. My mates will be fine without me. They are big kids.

I’m sorry but this is just shocking. I cannot fathom their utter arrogance. How can they think that this is an acceptable performance by any stretch of the imagination? To put it bluntly Bruce sounds shit. The band sound incredible.

In 2018, Bruce held it together but by a razors edge. This is just embarrassing. The whole thing about ‘authenticity’ just winds me up as well. How the fuck can Bruce say that down-tuning is not authentic? I suppose the testicles scraped over hot tarmac version he is giving us at the moment is revealing his authentic persona: stubborn and arrogant.

It’s sad to see a band that I love perform like this. I can forgive slip ups in a performance, but this is a systemic issue for the band.
I agree with parts of this but I'm still cracking up because it's worded so dramatically
