it is a very disapointing album for me

sad to say, but i have listened to most of this "British Lion" and i was sadly disapointed in it..........just sounds either dated or just very bland......i really dont know what i was expecting.......but it just aint for me.......i hope he does well with it...........IMHO

i have been thinking about this some more...........one word comes to mind "depth"............because of the range of songwriting between Harris, Smith and Dickinson.........their music just has a depth both lyrically and musically that no one else compares to.................the lives shows...

just try not to think about it too much bro! its just great music! period!

first and foremost their lyrics are not shallow, they have meaning..........i figure that is one of the most special things about Rush as well.........but Maiden still does something just a bit different than all the other Metal/Prog bands..........to me they refined the dual-lead guitar sound...

i have seen 40 or 50 concerts in my lifetime, and seen Maiden 3 times.........acdc, queensryche, metallica, ozzy, 38 special, cheap trick, kiss, ted nugent, the list goes on............none of the acts i have seen have ever compared to Maiden ever!........its not just Bruce either........they...

I completely agree on their energy level and their "spot on" technique........I was at the tour opener in Charlotte, they hadnt played a live show since the London O2 shows, and they didnt miss a beat at all, it didnt look like there was any "rust" to shake off...........true professionals all...

i saw them with Cooper in Charlotte, he was great!..........but i like Coheed and Cambria as well, would be cool to see them too!

let me state here that i am pretty much a Metallica hater.....anything after Master of Puppets to me is "sell out" material, it seems that right after Cliff Burtons death they took a turn for "hey lets make popular music!"...........in the beginning they were against the music business basically...

i thought it was ok to make my opinion known on here LOL!! there is no way that Megadeth is even close to the calibre of a band that Maiden is.....not a chance, now i like them, but they havent changed the face of music and they will never change the face of music at least not like Maiden...
