Boy oh boy, we've had this discussion a few times now. Let's just give it a rest until we have some sort of new information, even if it's a deleted tweet from a person working at a record label that has nothing to do with Iron Maiden.

I really can't see them holding off releasing the album until after a 3rd leg of LOTB, that would mean sitting on a finished album for over a year.
It's about maximising profits. If money can be made on extending current tour, then do that. New album can wait.
The new album will generate interest in the new songs and a tour including some of those new songs, so don't release new album until you are ready for the new tour.
Iron Maiden is a business.

Iron Maiden is a business. But they only have so much time left. We know they were in the studio doing something. The new album is for the fans. There will be no LOTB 2020.

Iron Maiden is a business. But its one that has everything planned out several years in advance, and not likely to change things on a whim.

I've yet to hear why it would be a good business idea to come back to Europe and tour a tour we've already seen rather than release a new album and tour a new tour.
Do we have a comparison on money? Say the gates from LOTB 2018 and the European leg of TBOS 2017?

At a guess, we'll find out about money after the event, like when they file accounts to Companies House. Or don't, if it's all going abroad.
