This song is actually the reason I thought of this question. A while back I watched a list of best hair metal songs, and one of the comments below it was "The Evil That Men Do should be on here!" I always meant to ask this but haven't until now.
 
Or Extreme. Or Def Leppard. Or early Bon Jovi.

Chains of Misery and From Here to Eternity are more like AC/DC, not hair metal.

Hair metal isn't just Motley Crue-ish. Think of other bands and songs, like Ozzy's "Mama I'm Coming Home", Queensryche's Empire album, and Judas Priest's Turbo. Whether or not these albums and songs are hair metal is debatable, but they often get grouped in with them.
 
Is there a curse connected with the last 1000 posts before the big milestone in this thread, so that the level of insanity goes up? The Evil That Men Do? Hair metal? Has Travis shared his green stuff with everyone this weekend?
