It'll be an ex-Hurricane when it reaches Ireland. It will still have hurricane force winds but the storm has a different profile to that of a tropical cyclone.

I went to a regional heavy metal fest last night in Asheville, NC. This is the 3rd local show I've been to since moving to Asheville and I was decently surprised. Asheville has more of a art punk/hardcore scene than it does a heavy metal scene. My work buddies and I missed the first 3 bands (they were 8 playing) but stayed for 4 sets and left during the last band to get food. The 5th or 6th band, I can't remember which, really impressed me. They're called Temptations Wings and they had an awesomely fun set.
Their style was a pretty good blend of that Southern style stoner/doom with an American Power Metal feel to it. Think Cirith Ungol with a little twang. I'll link their debut, which was released this year, below.
