RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

I think I've only listened to Nights Of The Dead twice in its entirety so far. I've listened to a couple of parts here and there, but overall it's an astonishingly bad live album. Bruce sounds absolutely awful. At times (Aces High being an obvious example) you can barely make out what the hell he's supposed to be singing.

But even worse: The way the crowd is mixed. Listen to Revelations. The crowd is supposed to be singing "hey! hey! in the gaps, yet it sounds as if someone recorded a shotgun blast, in a cathedral, in a ravine with the microphones outside of the building. Or in The Wicker Man (for example) where we know what the audience is singing, yet on the album they simply sound like white noise. You can't make out words nor melody. I have no idea how someone can edit audience mics to sound that way in the 21st century. It almost sounds like it was on purpose. Maybe Newton lost a bet? Or he wanted to see how far he can push things and still keep the gig?

Sign Of The Cross is kinda cool. FTGGOG finally made an official live album. The drums sound pretty good. That's where my praise for this turd stops though.

Even that beast over hammersmith mix sounds better.

The most curious thing is that at the end of the gig Bruce said "We willl... I'll see you again". We'll see but sadly I think he might be hinting at something.

Or that's just something he typically says and it's a habit now. I do believe they will take all of 2027 off but there will be some sort of European tour in 2028
