Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

Kind of dissapointing if they dont do NZ. Looking at the rumored dates, the tour could probably end in Australlia
Obviously nothing confirmed until the dates are dropped, but it might be a case of what I said earlier, they don't feel they could pull off a stadium show in NZ, but condensing Aus stadiums in just 3 cities they might do better and rely on travel.

Allianz Stadium in Sydney has a 35/37k capacity for shows. Probably a bit less for Maiden.
Melbourne's AAMI Park as a 30k capacity with seated GA, meaning it can be 35k for Maiden.

Maiden uniteD is playing Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. There is a stadium in Canberra which for live shows probably has a capacity close to 30k.

Canberra is placed between Melbourne and Sydney, too close. The shows could cannibalise themselves. I think a better option would be Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane (Showgrounds) with 25k capacity per show.

I don't think they will play Canberra either, but in case they have a reasonably big venue.

Yeah, and if they pulled off 25k per show that would still be a success, basically playing to more people over 3 shows than 7 arena dates. Essentially less work for bigger or worse case similar numbers.

3 Aus stadium shows with Megadeth could do very well.
But I really hope there are some Asian country dates too.

I attended 4 Aus shows on Future Past and saw a good amount of teenagers / 20s fans (support was Killswitch Engage, who I like a lot and probably helped with younger millennials and gen z metal fans). Obviously lots of old timers too but it seemed like maiden's appeal in Aus is quite balanced in generational terms. Should be a great way to end touring RFYL.

According to this there is

I think it has taken them this long because they were working hard on having key artwork of similar quality to their 80s album covers.

I know, it's so shit but hey ho, it's the content that matters.

Also, there's a list of countries where it will be shown. UK and Ireland are listed together. Empire is ooooooovvveeerrr guys, wake up and smell the emancipation.

Or maybe they listed us together cos we're the only territories showing previews the day before.

Never been to a film preview. Anyone know how that works? An extended trailer? Free canapés and whatnot?

Anyway, I'll be there with large bells on.

Finally, 2 weeks before the start of the tour (and before announcing the final dates for the tour). Let's hope it's interesting and with a good representation. ''Burning Ambition'' as a title, fitting and yet surprising that it's not tied to the tour or a famous song of theirs.

Nicko is on the poster! Love it. The burning art is rather cool with Eddie, the members and another take on the current tour posters. Made by Akirant. It was called a key art and first visual look - so more arts to follow? I hope so.
I just hope it's done as "history" documentaries on DVDs. I don't honestly care about Lars and who else is mentioned to talk about Maiden, I would really like to see all members talk about their respective eras. I'm mostly interested in Blaze' reflection on his time in the band.
Agreed. But even with over 2 hours long, it would be tricky for all eras. The most important eras, albums and stuff will be longer.

He looks sad though.
