To be fair Ticketmaster in the US were out of control well before Trump took office, it's just getting progressively worse each year.
Then you have the CEO saying he believes ticket prices are still a bargain lmao.

It's always been about corporate greed here, no laws or regulations and Ticketmaster dictating terms doing whatever they please.

They are literally in bed with third party sellers, openly scalp their own tickets and have $100+ service fees, you don't see this kind of madness in other parts of the world.

$225 for pit after fees.
Lower bowl seating ranging from $160- $360
Upper $105-$130

Its the classic monopolized Gilded Era shit. They have us by the balls and can really do whatever they want so long as band management approves, and people pay.

I felt like a sucker for paying $335 a ticket, but it was the last fairly close ticket I could get without buying 3 slightly cheaper ones (so not cheaper) to appease Ticketmasters policies, and avoid further price hikes. Worth it in the end, Ive always wanted to catch maiden close or in the pit (which of course was gone 5 minutes into it lmao), but mostly coughed it up so my Lady can see them with great seats. Its her first metal show/Big Act show, and she's fallin in love with Maiden's music.

Annoyingly, though, me and everyone else buying these tickets fuels the problem.
 
I don't know why tickets are that expensive in the US. My 5th row tickets were less than 100 Euros last summer in Berlin. Even when I got Trooper VIP at the O2 once, it was about 300 quid.

One of the biggest killers is the massive fees we get here, you don't see service fees of $100- $130 in Europe, imagine the uproar if you did aha.
 
Whenever I see you talking about ticket prices, I’m reminded how rough things are for us in South America. Here in Brazil, last year for TFP the cheapest tickets were around R$320, while the minimum wage was R$1518 and that’s not even counting travel costs, which are almost always necessary unless you live in one of a few major cities. It’s kind of crazy that stadiums still sell out here when you think about how expensive it is for the average person. Going to a concert has basically become a luxury. It sucks living in a country with such a weak currency.
 
My wife got us tickets for the Minnesota show with another couple. Pit was sold out (by mostly resellers, likely), but we got lower bowl. She didn't want to tell me how much they were, but I imagine they were $300+ each.

I knew it would be more than the $120-ish (pre-fees) we paid for TFP, especially since it's a bigger package tour with bigger name opening bands, but I guess I was expecting something more along the lines of $200-ish each. Yikes. But, as I've been saying the last several tours, this might be the last chance you get to see your favorite band. Best not to pass it up.
 
The prices are ridiculous, as I said, there's no option they'll add extra shows to NA schedule. Too expensive tickets, very unpredictable markets, etc.

I had an absolute nightmare trying to get Glasgow standing tickets. The site showed they were available but then when trying to go to checkout they were gone. Happened for ages. That was on Fanclub Presale. Seen posts from several others having the same problem that day.

I ended up getting seats in a different presale the next day. After that I read that they'd released multiple other batches of standing during the FC presale later in the afternoon.
 
So, one thing I did NOT like... tFP we had VIP Trooper, got right up front, lower balcony, sat right in front of Natalie and Sweet Pea. And had a great time... way cheaper than $520! This time it is back by the mixer, which is ok... i guess. but we bought our 5 up by the stage lowers, then I bought ONE Vip Trooper. Just to get the schwag and experience. Gonna try to sneak my crew in. For $520, I think that covers 5 with one merch pack. Done! Anyone else going to San Antonio?
 
I always thought it was best to join the fan club presale as early as possible.
But I've heard from several people that they didn't see the tickets they wanted at that early stage, but when they logged back in hours later, some were available.
