My speculation is that at least some things were originally planned differently but are being modified now relatively late in the process—for reasons I don't know, perhaps at the request of the members, for other reasons, I have no clue.
That is why everything is taking longer than usual.
 
Makes sense to finish European announcements hopefully by end of October. NA tour not start to late July, plenty of time to announce before Thanksgiving.

Maiden could play BMO stadium in LA, concert capacity 24000. Not sure about similar sized venue in New York. Arenas again, SA imagine stadiums.

Japan, Asia, NZ and Australia imagine maximum of 10 shows.

I think they played the old Comiskey Park here in Chicago as part of Chicagofest (or whatever it was called) in 82 - but that's a baseball stadium.
 
Tinley Park amphitheater in Chicago holds 28000, lots of large venues like that in North America, no need to play stadiums. Saw Def Leppard at Tinley, fantastic evening.

I do not think they will play NA/Mexico Or Canada in July because of the world cup next year. Most likey NA will be Sept, Oct or Nov. Hoping that Australia, Asia or Japan will be in Sept

But what about the second half of July and August, I don't think they will make a long gap between the EU and the rest of the world.

Rush are only playing 3 US cities.
In saying that in the US this is a non factor having a major sports event won't impact concert bookings, quite often you have situations where multiple events happen at the same time in a city on any given night.

Unless Steve rather be at home to watch it before starting the next leg :p
 
Sweden rock was just announced. Waiting for maiden, they will either announce one or two shows besides Sweden or they'll say that's all folks.

It was obvious, I'm just saying that maiden didn't post anything yet. If there are any EU shows besides Sweden, they will be announced today.
 
They (for sure) will announce something between 17 and 22 June. If they don't announce Croatia show(s) 'til the end of October, there won't be a chance to see them in the Balkans next year.

20th and 21st are out due to recording IMO. They won't rush to Paris and then record an one-shot gig, unless it's an additional night on 21st in Paris.

There could be something on 18th or 19th, tho, if 2nd Paris night won't happen.

If I had to bet, it's another gig on 18th and/or additional Paris show on 21st.

but you will see them in the Balkans. Unless Greece moved and I somehow missed it.

I think they'll headline Hellfest, which is basically sold out for months. Only day tickets will be on sale (circa 5k), 4-days main ticket pool is sold out, so Hellfest is a safe bet imho. I mentioned Croatia 'cos there were a lot of talks about. If they play the Balkans, it would be the beginning of the whole leg.
 
If they don't play anywhere in the former Yugoslavia (Croatia, Slovenia or Serbia) on this tour, that's not excusable. They never played in Macedonia, Bosnia or Montenegro, so...
