There were 2 Lado basses AFAIK. Am I right ?I think this is the first photo I've seen of Steve live with the Lado bass! 1984/1985.

Ok, so the first one is the one seen on the Aces High and 2 Minutes to Midnight videos, and the second one is the one that @Kalata posted, I’ve seen that one on some extracts of the Behind the Iron Curtain video, anyway, thank you for the info mate !![]()
These are the two I've seen him with. I think the second one is the same one as the one @Kalata posted in his post.![]()
A backup. It used to be a Kemper as a backup, but it seems like they switched to Neural.Couple of good shots of Janick and Davey's rigs. Interesting to see a Neural DSP Quad Cortex in Jan's rig.. Assuming it's just back-backup.
And a video to come soon!

This past july we got the chance to meet with our friends in Iron Maiden in Frankfurt to take a closer look into their live rigs and guitars. Stay tuned for an in-depth video coming soon...www.facebook.com
No. It was dropped and broken after the neck pickup was uncovered. There are pictures with uncovered neck pickup but no stripe.Random thought I had, in the Olas rundown with Adrian(iirc), he mentions the white stripe came after it cracked/got damaged on the lower horn somewhere in the US, presumably in 82. Are there any pics of it from Beast on the Road showing the white stripe? Most pics from the later parts of that tour don't really show him with the Destroyer, and pics of it during the start of World Piece show the white stripe on it already.
I think the SG was a factory bigsby. It got removed in 2005.There was a picture from the Beast on the Road tour with H and his 4 guitars (the Destroyer, the holy Goldtop, the black Melody Maker and the SG)
edit: found it

Sorry for the shitty quality, but from what I can see, the photo shows the destroyer with the neck pickup cover removed and the stripe already added, so it should be from the last days of the TBOTR tour (probably Australia/Japan shows). Other thing I noticed: the SG was seemingly already bigsbied too.
Have any of you in this thread received your copy of the Infinite Dreams book yet? I'd like to know which guitars are featured in the book. My copy should arrive this Friday, and I can't wait !!
Lovely that they photographed the Kossoff and the '64 together. Here is the spread on Davey’s pre-CBS strats. At least we have confirmation the Kossoff strat has a 63’ body. Most of the text and quotes is lifted directly from previous interviews.

The Kossoff has the non-locking Kahler. The 64 had a locking Kahler up until 88 or so. Then it was replaced with a Floyd.I always thought the Kahler was on the rosewood not the Kossoff

Good find and you're absolutely correct in your assertion. Adrians two Lado Earth guitars also had that bridge mounted when he first got them (he also modified them to accept Floyds, as we have just seen). The Kossoff strat never had a Kahler, but it did have a Rockinger system installed for the first part of the World Slavery Tour. It was removed before the tour ended. The headstock still shows the holes drilled for the locking nut.
I believe the book is wrong on this.
