I'm trying to figure out what neck pickup Davey was using on his Squier JV back in 1983 at Compass Point. He had an X2N (?) in the bridge, but I'm not sure about the neck... Any info at all would be greatly appreciated. Later on, he switched to a Super Distortion / PAF combo, up until he smashed the guitar in Hamburg. Thanks a lot!

I wonder which guitar that pickguard ended up in.... I'd say the cream (lawsuit style)ESP, but maybe that's unlikely given the time between Dortmund World Piece Tour and Seventh Son. But who knows

Nope. Dave changed things. There are now 3 Hicks style Strats. The original, the 2nd Custom Shop one and now the DM001, which seems like the production sample of a new signature model.
DM001 is now used on all songs that were previously occupied by the Jason Smith black CBS headstock Strat. It has a black strap, while the original Hicks one has a greenish one.
Adrian is also playing the Lado on Aces High.

Black Lado is the backup for the new one. He played it in Lyon during Phantom. The Destroyer is still in the rack too.Thank you. So for Adrian still no black lado and no DT300?
The new Lado is basically a copy of the black one with few modifications due to Adrian's recent preferences.

I was really hoping to see H play the new Jackson with the white headstock - as I know he has at least one (was in a home-studio video) a while back. I had initially thought maybe Jackson would have made him a custom shop version, but maybe not - I guess he probably wouldn't be putting a non-US/custom shop Jackson in his rig just for the sake of it...

No point in buying US Fender Strats these days as opposed to Mexico strats imo.
(or any point in buying Fender at all after their insane power trip recently)
