RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

It looks like web site ironmaden.knebworth.com is not yet active.
What a weak lineup.

Iron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood, says: “We knew that we had to bring the Run For Your Lives show back to the UK again next summer as there was such a phenomenal demand for tickets this year but we wanted to do something a bit different especially as it would be hard to top the show at London Stadium!

“Well, we think that Knebworth is the solution – besides being a legendary venue for historic concerts over the years going right back to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, the Stones and Queen – it also gives us the outdoor space and control to create something very special for our fans! Of course, we also have history there too with our headline appearances at Sonisphere some years ago, who could forget that World War I Centenary dog fight over the park’s tree line with Bruce full guns blazing in his own Fokker triplane?

“However, this time we will be taking over the whole of the grounds ourselves and turning it into as much of a ‘Maiden World’ as we can for all our fans to enjoy!

“Our Eddie’s Dive Bars have proved immensely popular on this current tour so our intention is to create our biggest one yet which will also be open on the Friday for the campers from the separate communal camping & glamping areas. For those lucky Friday night campers there will be a full programme of Maiden-themed entertainment there that night, which we expect to include some live music, DJs, the aforementioned dive bar, along with other attractions and entertainment we are currently working on to make it the best warm up for the big day!

“So we hope you will join us next year as we continue to celebrate five decades of Iron Maiden. It’s going to be one for the history books…in a really historic venue!“

Is the "What a weak lineup" part of the official press release?

The thing with Maiden is that we know they'll play the same set at every stop of the tour. So, when a tour is announced I ask myself these 2 questions:
1. What place I'd like to visit?
2. Which is the best venue for the gig?
That's why last year I chose Waldbuehne. This year it might be Pula (if it happens). Otherwise probably Paris(or Amsterdam) has the best venue and I haven't been there for years.

Just announced two festival appearances.

June 2026
24th – 27th – Copenhell, Copenhagen – DENMARK (Tickets on sale Sept 30)
24th – 27th – Tons of Rock, Olso – NORWAY (Tickets on sale Sept 25)

Pretty unusual that they announce two dates like that and have not settled which one they will play first?

As I'm not too excited about the other headliners announced today for Tons of Rock (Bring Me The Horizon and Limp Bizkit), I was thinking about getting tickets for only Wednesday (for Maiden) plus Saturday, hoping for a good headliner that day. But not knowing when Maiden will play makes me a bit reluctant.

It's quite normal for festivals to announce that later. Day tickets also won't be on sale for a little while.

Where is this from? I can't find it on the website.

Thats a really poor lineup to me, I'd have been tempted for a really special gig with a solid lineup, but no way I'm travelling all the way down to London for that.

The line-up isn't spectacular but The Hu are great and both The Darkness and Airbourne are good entertainment. But I agree thet there needs to be a stronger support act.

There's camping apparently which might sway me. It'll make travelling and easier without having to worry about finding accommodation or driving for miles through the night.

It does depend on the price though.
