Hmm, speaking about Maiden's current tour, he said there's a nice window open for 2027 because they are going to be busy in 2026. How to interpret that?
Maybe there is some truth in Maiden not being very active in 2027, giving him much more time to promote and tour his solo stuff.

Blaze has played Maiden songs live that they never played, I'm all for Bruce doing the same. Gonna be fun to see how some of those songs will work in a live setting.

I doubt it, but who knows with these teasing (and odd, really) comments. I guess a potential 3rd leg could be very short, like in 2014.
i hope it's flash of the blade but somehow i think it's gonna be sun and steel.
Sun And Steel has an advantage because of the beer. :p Nicko would love it. By the way, Bruce had Gangland as an intro during his Spoken tour, just saying, lol. Flash Of The Blade is his song and it's better, but the chorus is really high, not that that's going to stop him, as we know. If only Empire was shorter.
With the two guitar plus keys setup I feel like it would translate better than the Maiden arrangement would live and also fit the general vibe of Bruce’s current live show.
You might be right, but would a prominent keys fit the harmonies of the song? We have an example with Road. Actually, both songs fit his current live show and style: repetitive chorus, really short or no solo, haha. Btw, wasn't there some kind of a ''hint'' last year about this song for the 1st leg or I remembered wrong?

This. 100%. It's not the same, but it's really something so more, please.

In this interview, Bruce was asked if there could be potential guests on the new album like Adrian or Roy:

''There are no plans for that at the moment, I have 2 great guitar players, a great keyboard player. I mean, we wrote all the songs between us, did everything up, so. Nobody would object, but I like the idea that once you got a crew, I think you owe it to them to respect them and not trying kinda almost... [he did not finish]... it's always a bit weary of having guests on solo records, is if like the band you've got is not good enough, you know. Maybe that's the wrong way to think about it, but I like to make things nice and clear.''

It's curious, TMP have guests. Roy wanted them? What Bruce says is the truth. It could be a dig at Roy, not undeserved.

More from the short interview... (maan, the questions could be much more interesting):
He doesn't listen to his old albums both solo and Maiden, unless it's for a tour. When he does, he's surprised by how good/cool some of the material is.

He was really wondering whether they should play a Maiden song live with his solo band.

The new musicians really give such a color to the demos.

He recorded vocals for Graham Bonnet's solo song a few days ago and did 4 takes on the chorus for him to choose from. I thought he isn't a fan of doing multiple takes in the studio (and since 2003). And he will record his solo album live.

The difference compared to TMP is that this time around he has a band that he toured with (and which he'll go on another tour with soon), so there's a feeling of unity, instead of using hired guns to do the job.

They were Roy's friends. Chris Declercq, Gus G... I think what Bruce is saying here is that if he brings in someone like Adrian as a guest, it might overshadow the performances of the other band members — and he has a point. I guess that’s also part of the reason why Roy Z wanted to be the sole guitarist before the last tour.

I was referring to the idea of completing an album with guests as opposed to doing it with a band.
The Roy Z albums were more of long-distance project though, right? Now he has an actual band he's vibing with, whom he enjoys playing with and who seem to participate in the songwriting process as well.

I get why some fans would like guest contributions from Adrian for example, but personally I've never been a fan of musicians outside the band getting involved. Having a guest on a live performance can be neat, but on albums I want only the current band involved. That's a me thing though and obviously subjective.
